According to a new rumor, TSMC has started production of the iPhone 13 processor. The A15 chip is at the heart of Apple’s new smartphones coming this fall.
What is striking is the timing: Apple seems to have started production earlier, in order to avoid possible delays. Last year, the iPhone 12 series appeared later than planned due to the pandemic and production problems. By starting the iPhone 13 processor a little earlier this year, Apple wants to prevent this.
