Get Infinite Rocket Launcher in Resident Evil 4 Remake

With the infinite rocket launcher in Resident Evil 4 Remake you can fire one rocket after the other and experience fun game runs. We’ll tell you how to unlock the infinite rocket launcher here.

Unlock infinite rocket launcher

To get the rocket launcher with infinite ammo, all you have to do is beat the game once. Then save your completed game and load it to start New Game Plus.

In NG+ you meet the trader right at the beginning of chapter 1 after your escape from the hunting lodge. Here he offers you the infinite rocket launcher for a whopping 2,000,000 pesetas.

So you don’t just get the rocket launcher, you have to dig deep into your wallet for it.

Get 2,000,000 pesetas

You won’t have 2,000,000 pesetas after your first playthrough, even if you’ve searched everything thoroughly and collected all the treasures. You should therefore continue playing in New Game Plus and collect all items and treasures that you can find.

Only sell treasure with the best gem combinations, and complete quests to earn Spinels that you can trade for more treasure. If you’re still short on money, sell your upgraded weapons, which should be worth quite a bit.

By the time New Game Plus progresses you should have enough pesetas for the Infinite Rocket Launcher. The rocket launcher kills all enemies with one shot and one shot is enough to kill each boss or each boss phase.

Does the infinite rocket launcher count as a bonus weapon?

Other than the eternal knife, which is the Chicago Sweeper and the Handcannon the rocket launcher no bonus weapon. It is not stored in typewriter storage, so you cannot pick it up on entirely new playthroughs. It is only available to you in the respective NG+ and further game runs on the same save (NG++, NG+++ etc.).
