FPS reveals release date in explosive trailer
Call of Duty Vanguard, the next installment in the famous saga, will land on our consoles and PC from November 5, 2021. Via an in-game event in Warzone, Activision took the opportunity to unveil the first official trailer for this new episode, which will mark a return to World War II.
Earlier this week, Activision began to ramp up the pressure with a first teaser for Call of Duty Vanguard. The framework is set, yes the new opus will take place during the Second World War, period oh how many times exploited by the famous saga of FPS. The American publisher had given an appointment to the players on August 19, 2021 in Warzone, its free-to-play Battle Royale, for discover the first official trailer for Call of Duty Vanguard.
Let’s start by talking about the scenario of the single player campaign, because yes there will be a single player campaign on this album! Just like the excellent Wolfenstein The New Order and The New Colossus, COD Vanguard takes place in an alternate reality, during which the player will follow the story of four elite soldiers inspired by historical figures.
Polina Petrova for example wants to be the alter ego of Lyudmila Pavlichenko, legendary Soviet sniper who wreaked havoc in the German ranks with more than 309 confirmed targets. Wade Jackson is inspired by Vernon L. Micheel, a veteran Navy pilot who bombed two Japanese aircraft carriers during the Battle of Midway.

Here, these four elite soldiers will have to join forces to accomplish a crucial mission: prevent the Germans from finding a successor to Adolf Hitler. Indeed, the surviving SS and Gestapo officers devised the plan to continue the war after the death of the Führer. So this is where your elite squad comes in.
As the trailer suggests, this single player campaign promises to be particularly rich and varied, since it will take you to theaters of conflict located all over the world: in North Africa, Eastern and Western Europe, as well as the Pacific. Multiplayer side, information is still scarce. Nevertheless and as the developers of SledgeHammer have specified, 20 cards will be available at launch : 16 will be dedicated to 6 VS 6, while the remaining 4 are reserved for modes 1 VS 1 and 2 VS 2.
Call of Duty Vanguard is expected November 5, 2021 on PC, PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S. Of course, the game will be optimized for next-gen consoles and will offer various graphics improvements (4K, Ray-Tracing and 60 FPS stable).
