First Long Live the Love baby is born (and that’s his name)

Party at Melvin and Xanegay from Lang Leve de Liefde: their son was born in July. And with that, the very first baby of the successful dating program is a fact.

‘We are the proud parents & brothers of Xion’, the couple writes on Instagram with a birth announcement. ‘We can no longer afford happiness in our family.’ The boy’s name is Xion, which you pronounce as Lion, the English translation of lion.

Long live the love

Melvin and Xanegay got to know each other in the SBS program Lang Leve de Liefde, in which singles spend a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of four days with each other. It is striking that they did not last that long in the villa. The two went their separate ways. After the recordings, the spark still flew. All’s well that ends well. “We are still so happy together; PURE LOVE,” said the couple. “That can now also be seen in our new beautiful son. The boys are also enjoying their brother very much.” Xanegay already has two sons from a previous relationship.
