‘First images OnePlus Nord CE 3 appeared’
The first images of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 have been leaked. Here we see a device that has been modified on a number of points compared to its predecessor. What else do we see?
OnePlus Nord series
The OnePlus Nord series emerged in 2020 with the first OnePlus Nord. This device had to bring together all the good points of OnePlus in a more affordable mid-range smartphone. So the focus was mainly on speed, a clean Android experience and fast charging. The successors of this smartphone had the focus on the same points. Although we do see that the phones from the Nord series, and the OnePlus devices themselves, are changing. In addition, more and more variants of the Nord are becoming available. For example, you now have the OnePlus Nord 2, Nord 2T, Nord CE 2 and the Nord CE 2 Lite. In the review of the Nord CE 2 I said the following about it:
OnePlus is increasingly losing its own face. The ‘Oppification’ of the OnePlus smartphones is getting closer and closer and you notice with this device that the soul of OnePlus is gradually disappearing. Don’t get me wrong, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 is not a bad device. With super fast loading and the fine software experience, it also brings a number of strong OnePlus points. However, the device is nothing distinctive and does not really excel in anything anymore.

OnePlus Nord CE 3
As the successor to the Nord CE2, OnePlus will most likely release the Nord CE 3 next year. The first images of this new OnePlus smartphone have now been leaked. The famous rumor spreader OnLeaks has shown renders of the phone. On these renders we see that OnePlus is going to give the Nord CE 3 a new design.

We now see a more angular design with flat sides and a selfie camera in the middle. On the back we see two large camera modules. It is not yet known exactly which camera sensors OnePlus will use. GSMArena talk about a 108 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. However, this is a rumor and has not been disclosed by other websites and/or well-known goodies.
It is also expected that the Nord CE 3 will run on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13 on top. Whether the device will also have access to the new update policy that OnePlus has just announced is not yet clear. What do you think of the Nord CE 3 based on these images? Let us know in the comments.
