There are some expensive houses for sale in the Netherlands. But the most expensive one has finally been sold after five years.
The Netherlands has many expensive houses. And one of the most expensive offered on Funda has now sold. The seller had to wait a long time for a new buyer. That is, five years. Fortunately, the house in chic Aerdenhout has been sold.
Most expensive house on Funda
The country house with a lot of allure came on the market five years ago. With a price tag of €16.75 million, it was the most expensive house on Funda at the time. For that you get a country house that was built in 1923 and renovated in 2006. There is also a coach house and a second home. This house is called ‘t Jagthuys. The house was therefore completely tightened during the renovation. And you get everything you can expect from such a house. Think of a library, swimming pool, gym, nine bedrooms and a wine cellar. You don’t have to be bored in the garden either. There is a hockey field with artificial grass and a tennis court. Nice and sporty!
New owner
We don’t know who the seller is. The owners did say in a newspaper that they are selling the house because the children have left the house. Then nine bedrooms might be a lot. The new owner also values his or her privacy. The selling broker makes no statements about this, but does say that it is a successful entrepreneur who comes from the Netherlands. The last known price that was asked was €15.75 million. It is unknown whether the new owner managed to get more from it. As a result of this fall in prices, the house was no longer the most expensive of Funda’s houses. And outside Funda, there we find houses for sale that are even more expensive.
