Far Cry 6 launch date announced. And some crazy weapons too
Far Cry 6 was supposed to come early this year, but alas. Now the launch date has been announced and we know more about the insane weapons in the game!
More and more game producers are providing information about the launch of their titles. The release calendar is filling up nicely. Ubisoft has now announced that Far Cry 6 will be released on October 7, 2021.
The game will come to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Google Stadia. If you buy it on PS4 or Xbox One, you get a free upgrade to the current generation version. The game was originally supposed to come in February, but corona threw a spanner in the works.
Far Cry 6 launch date
Okay, so the launch date is in October. But what else can we expect? Ubisoft has already lifted a corner of the veil. Rather than wait for the E3 showcase in a few weeks, the publisher has given a first look at the gameplay. They did this in a live stream a few days ago. Far Cry 6 is set in Yara, a fictionalized version of Cuba, where you control Dani Rojas (it’s up to you whether the main character is a man or a woman).
Insane weapons
In the game you can use some bizarre weapons, which also makes the game unique. You can use whatever is in your favor. For example, weapons that use sardine cans, batteries and motorcycle engines. Best of all, there’s a deadly CD launcher playing Los del Rio’s “Macarena”. Awesome.
But this is not all, no. You can equip a Supremo backpack with a comic book-inspired special weapon, such as a jetpack, rocket launcher, or flamethrower. There are modified vehicles and horses to help you find your way. This promises a lot, let’s hope they make it to this Far Cry 6 launch date.
