Fans adore the new trailer

Fans have been waiting for this for a long time and now God of War Ragnarök is coming out in just a week. That’s still enough time to release a funny trailer with a real star cast and it’s really celebrated by fans.

For the latest trailer for the upcoming God of War game, Sony not only brought top actors on board, but also a basketball star. In the video, which also features her children, the men bring out their inner Kratosin order to be able to communicate with them better – it is not entirely clear whether this will succeed in the end, but it makes for a few laughs while watching.

Actor Ben Stiller claims in the video that the dynamic between Kratos and Atreus is reflected in every parent-child relationship and portrays this meeting as a kind of family therapy. A few taunts here and a few witticisms there ensure that that the trailer is really well received by gamers and that the anticipation for God of War Ragnarök is growing.

“Well, they’re definitely getting creative with promoting Ragnarök. Well played,” writes YouTube user TheVitruvianMan, for example.

“I love it when companies do fun things like this,” wrote YouTube user Darth Kadd, echoing what I’m sure many fans are thinking.

God of War Ragnarök also offers decent game time

In the past, the developers emphasized that the game ended up being more extensive than initially planned, which is also reflected in the playing time. An IGN editor revealed that it took him around 70 hours to 100% through God of War Ragnarok. In comparison: With the predecessor from 2018, it took about 50 hours to complete the game (source: IGN@YouTube).

God of War Ragnarök will be released on November 9, 2022 for PS4 and PS5 (check it out on Amazon).
