Facebook, Instagram and Messenger had another outage
Last night, from about 19:00 to 23:00, they had applications that belong to the company Facebook Meta outage, which also affected us in Slovakia. The exception was WhatsApp, which was not affected by the outages. Facebook, Instagram and Messenger had problems receiving and sending messages. The report was brought by the Android Central portal.
Messaging on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger was not available
You have prepared the messages for sending, but they do not display a pipe icon showing the status of the message being sent. All that was left was an empty ring. To explain, this ring can have several states. It can be empty (the message did not leave your device), empty with a pipe (sent), filled with the color + pipe (delivered to the recipient) and with a photo of the user (read).
Interestingly, this was the third major outage of these applications in one month. The largest was at the beginning of October, when applications did not send messages for almost six hours. Messenger and Instagram admitted yesterday’s outage on their Twitter accounts. Well, tell me, is there a better outage reporting platform than a competitor?

Instagram wants to prepare users for similar situations, so last month it started testing a bookmark that will alert you to a failure. Currently, the test only affects the United States, and it will probably take a few more months.
