Export Google calendars – here’s how
If you export your Google calendar, you can use the backup file as a backup or import it into another calendar. We’ll show you how to export the Google calendar here on GIGA.
You cannot export any data in the associated Google Calendar app. So you create the export file from the PC in the browser.
Export Google Calendar
1st step:
Log in to the PC in your Google calendar. Click on the top left Gear icon and choose “Settings” out.
2nd step:
Click on the menu item “Import & export“. On the right you can see under the heading “Export“Which calendars and appointments you can export. Confirmed with the button “Export“.
3rd step:
A ZIP file with the included calendars and appointments will now be downloaded. You may also be asked where the ZIP file should be saved. If you unpack the ZIP file, you will find it contained ICS files of your appointments. By default, your browser saves all downloaded files in the download folder. You can import the ICS files into Outlook, for example.
