Expedition Zero – -apkrig
We know that you are as interested in Czech games as we are, but that is not the reason why we are writing about Expedition Zero today. At first, we didn’t even know that Czech developers were working on it. We were simply fascinated by the trailer and the environment of the game, and when searching for information, it came as a surprise that it was actually a Czech game.
The young studio Enigmatic Machines is full of Czechs and one of the two addresses of the studio belongs to Prague, while the other to Ireland. Given the previous experience of the creators with Unreal Engine 4, we can assume that this is exactly the engine that drives their survival horror Expedition Zero.
In it, you become the last survivor of a Soviet expedition sent to Siberia to investigate the fall of a meteorite and rumors of carnivorous creatures that ravage the villages. Contact with the expedition was lost almost immediately, but something just won’t stop you. You are still trying to find your way home and survive the freezing conditions and attacks of monstrous monsters.
However, you are not just a weak scientist in a white coat or a radiation shield. Your unit has been equipped with the most advanced technologies, so you run around Siberia in a mechanized suit, which you will further improve and provide with new features.
Otherwise, we don’t know much about the game content, but here it’s your turn and your own curiosity. Expedition Zero, like many other games, has a demo version available at the Steam Festival, so don’t hesitate, download and discover the terrifying Siberia. The full game should be released on a PC this year under the auspices of tinyBuild.
