“Every time my ex comes over I leave something suggestive”

It’s not very neat, but every time her ex comes over, Mandy invariably leaves something lying around that indicates an active sex life. Just because it feels good.

Mandy (29), mother of Joshua (2.5):

“Six days after Ray packed his bag and traded our house for the chick he’d fallen head over heels in love with, he came to pick up stuff. He cuddled with our son and drank a cup of tea.

Then he walked to the attic, where, next to the sports bags he needed, a sexy red lingerie set hung prominently on the washing line. Brand new. I knew he had noticed, because when he came downstairs he immediately asked if I had had a visit from a man this week. I just smiled.

Active single life

I hadn’t seen any other lord except for my father, but he didn’t need to know that. I saw him stiffen. Ray has always been very jealous. Even though he has someone else, he finds it difficult that his son’s mother leads an active single life.

Since then, every time he passes by I subtly swing something reminiscent of a heavy sex life; from an empty condom wrapper in the bathroom to a huge Valentine’s Day card (which I bought for myself). Childish, but it helps me deal with the huge shock of learning that he left me for his mistress. Ray seems to come by extra often because of this. I don’t know if it helps to bring him back to reason and return to us, but I enjoy his extra attention.”
