Epic Games Store will launch its own game festival -apkrig the day after tomorrow

We informed you this morning that ESA, which brings together game developers and organizes E3 in the United States, has reconsidered plans for this year, according to VGC magazine, and is likely to host the biggest gaming event online. It is therefore very probable that the organizers of other similar events will also take the same position, and just like last year, a plethora of digital presentations awaits us in 2021. The first of them will take place in two days, and as the headline reveals, Epic Games will take care of it. As part of its online store, it intends to launch the so-called Spring Showcase on Thursday from 7 pm, which will include not only discounts on games, but also the announcement of new titles, or a closer presentation of already ongoing projects.

“Join us to see some of the games that will appear on the Epic Games Store this year. We’ve put together a collection of new announcements, footage and presentations directly from the developers, ”attracts people from Epic Games. The whole event will then be broadcast on their official channel on Twitch and they expect it to take place until February 25, but it does not seem likely that this also applies to streams. However, no specific program is available at the moment and it is difficult to predict how much time the games will receive and in what proportion the complete news and already announced titles will be included.

However, we can refer to a recent statement from the Epic Games Store, who confirmed that they will continue to want to enter into exclusive partnerships with specific developers and publishers. According to PC Gamer, there should be more in the next two years than there have been in total so far, although logically it may not (and will not) be a 100% PC. exclusivity. In fact, it doesn’t even have to be purely exclusive games for the Epic Games Store, but simply put – all games that haven’t been available on Steam for a while.

Returning to the Spring Showcase, the discounts will of course come and some of them are already indicated by Epic. Star Wars will receive lower prices: Squadrons, SnowRunner, Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Hades, but there will be many more games and their price reduction can be up to 75 percent.
