Elon Musk wants Twitter to pay for businesses and governments
Elon Musk promises that Twitter will remain free for users, but he plans to charge companies and governments. At least that’s what he said in a tweet.
Paid Twitter, but only for certain groups
“Twitter will still be free for casual users, but perhaps at a small cost for business or government users”, has indicated Elon Musk. As a reminder, he recently bought Twitter for 44 billion dollars. However, the transaction is not yet complete, we must now wait for the green light from the competent authorities.

A paid social network, of course, but what would be the price? The boss of Tesla does not say it for the moment. We can imagine that it is in reflection. It also doesn’t say what will happen to certain groups that may be non-profit.
Over the years, Twitter has failed to make as much money as other social networks such as Facebook and Instagram. Elon Musk has previously said he wants “make Twitter better than ever by enriching the product with new features”.
For a few months now, there has been a paid offer on Twitter called Blue. It’s only available in a handful of countries and costs $2.99/month. It gives access to some features, such as the ability to unsend a tweet and put tweets aside.
