Although we do not yet know more details, from 9 pm, players on the official channel on Twitch will most likely be able to watch new gameplay footage. The purpose is not only to show the game as such after a long time, but also to prove that the game is coming to its release and will be able to be released during this year. At least that’s what the developers suggested in the video, which was followed by two segments in which they answered questions from fans. But even before the cameras start at 9pm local time and the stream erupts, Techland has already missed the most important information.
If we believe the information of the Italian magazine Everyeye.it, which was pointed out by an insider nicknamed Okami, Dying Light 2 will arrive at the end of this year, specifically on December 7th. The site in question mistakenly placed an ad to lead to a pre-order page, and these are not usually available unless there is a fixed release date. In addition, the advertising banner itself mentions the mentioned term, and we have basically no reason to question the message. At the same time, it is possible to reaffirm that Techland did not throw overboard versions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which are not included in the list of supported platforms alongside the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
What’s more, similar advertisements to Everyeye.it have also appeared on Twitch and other gaming sites, which only reinforces the belief that the whole event was wrong, but is otherwise real and commissioned directly from Techland.
