Alternatively, you can find numerous instructions at World Bricks. Here you can find individual models by theme or year. On the overview page, found sets are presented with a preview image so that you can quickly find the instructions for the LEGO building set you want. So that you really find the model you want, you can browse through various LEGO catalogs in the browser. In addition, the instructions are also sorted by set number and year.
Not quite as nice, but the site is also extensive by Peeron. Here, LEGO building instructions for individual sets can be sorted by year of release, number of parts and more. Unfortunately, instructions are not actually available for all of the sets listed. Individual “Instruction Scans” can be sorted by subject and year of publication. The LEGO building instructions available here are scanned as JPG files.
LEGO Instructions at the Internet Archive
At Archive.org they are building up a huge internet archive. There you will also find an extensive collection of almost 7,000 different instructions for LEGO sets from the last few decades. The archive consists of various images and PDF documents that show the individual steps involved in building.
