The digital coin Dogecoin comes with a change. Elon Musk responds to this and immediately expresses his support.
We know Elon Musk as a fan of Dogecoin. He has expressed his enthusiasm several times. He often does this via Twitter, his favorite medium. Dogecoin is now coming with a rate change and the Tesla CEO says it is important to support it.
Dogecoin change
The developer of the coin comes up with a proposal saying that: “This document proposes a new fee structure and policy for Dogecoin Core, to be gradually implemented on the network through multiple software releases”. The proposal was submitted last weekend by Ross Nicole of Dogecoin and posted on Twitter that the proposal to change the Dogecoin fee has been submitted.” Musk quickly replied to his tweet, expressing his support.
Reimbursement Policy
On Reddit, the coin’s developer explains that he is proposing this to all Dogecoin stakeholders to reduce the average fees 100x for standard transactions in the Dogecoin chain. In addition to sharing full control over all aspects of fees between miners and node operators, relying less on core development and bringing back a functional (small) free transaction space that encourages to keep the network healthy.
With this, Dogecoin seems to be listening to the users (and Musk). In May of this year, Musk started posting about Dogecoin and how the system should be better. Including the system transactions.
