Disney + is coming to the Netherlands with Disney + Star; Plus is getting more expensive
Disney has announced that it will release Disney + Star video service in the Netherlands. This one is aimed at adults. The Disney + video service will also receive a price increase.
Disney + Star
Disney + is being expanded with an additional version for adults. This platform is called Disney + Star and will be available as an additional part of the existing offer. So there are six channels, the current ones are Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.
Disney has announced that Star + can be locked with a pin code, so that children cannot directly access this content. A total of 1,000 new titles will be added to Disney +. Star will be available from February 23rd and will consist of at least 14 films and series. We have listed them for you below.

Price increase
With the arrival of Star, a price increase is also being implemented for Disney +. From February 23, the price will go to 8.99 euros per month, which is now 6.99 euros per month. The price per year will go to 89.99 euros, where it is now 69.99 euros. Incidentally, the current prices for existing subscribers will remain the same for six months. For them, the new rates will take effect from 23 August.
