Critical Error After Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Update
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 users are complaining online about a connectivity issue with their smartwatch. It is no longer possible to pair the Watch 4 with their phone and that problem has existed since the last update that introduced the Google Assistant.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Error
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 users are complaining on the social news site Reddit (1, 2, 3) about a serious flaw that is preventing their watch from connecting to their phone. They noticed that the Watch 4 has lost connection and pairing also fails every time. The bug has been happening since last week’s update that Google Assistant rolled out.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is the first Samsung watch to work with Google’s Wear OS system, but it has worked without the digital assistant all along. Since August 2021, Samsung has been talking about the upcoming update that the Assistant would roll out. Previously, users also complained about less good battery performance with the arrival of the voice assistant.
Factory settings
Users report that the Watch 4 itself offers a solution when connecting to your phone fails. On the screen you will read that you can restore the factory settings and that is a solution that also works for Watch 4 users.
However, many users are not keen, because they then have to reset the watch, including Samsung Pay. And not every user backed up their data. Google and Samsung have yet to comment on the matter and it’s not clear if a resolution is underway.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5
In recent weeks and months, a lot of information has come out about the successor to the Watch 4. The Galaxy Watch 5 will get a Pro version and will come in a total of three variants. One of the upcoming features is the built-in thermometer, although it’s unclear whether it will work at launch. Here are all the rumors in a row. Do you recognize the Galaxy Watch 4 issues?
