Covid19 applications – France, Europe, Third Countries
This page groups together the various official applications (the equivalent of StopCovid for France) offered by several countries around the world.
Overall:
– Installation, activation and use are voluntary acts.
– Contacting your doctor in the event of an alert on your mobile device will be a voluntary decision.
– It will not be possible to declare oneself falsely ill.
– No census of infected people.
– No identification of areas where patients have moved.
– Data stored provisionally, depending on the country.
Operation:
– Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device to allow the system to identify contacts between users.
– The tracking tool does not use geolocation, the application will no longer have any interest if you cut Bluetooth.
– Bluetooth will identify third-party devices nearby.
– Each mobile device will have encrypted identifiers. These identifiers will change over time to prevent the link between the user and their identifier can be made.
– If, during your outings, you meet people using the same application (with Bluetooth enabled), your mobile device will save their anonymized credentials in the history of the application.
– If you develop symptoms a few days later and you test positive for Covid-19, the laboratory will provide you with a QR-Code that you can import into the application.
– This QR-Code will then allow the application to automatically warn all the users that you have met (within one meter and for more than fifteen minutes) in the previous two weeks.
– Mobile devices of app users will regularly check whether their encrypted credentials are on these lists. If so, they will display an alert.
