A developer has developed a new image format called “Quite OK Image Format”. It is open source, offers fast, lossless compression and apparently more than lives up to its name – QOI is supposed to be better than just ok.
The developer Dominic Szablewski has developed a new file format called QOI. The naming of the Quite OK Image Format is a little understatement, according to the Register, the file format could be much better than just “quite ok”.
