Chrome for Android lets you shield incognito windows with fingerprint
A handy addition has been made to the Chrome browser for your Android device. It is made possible to shield incognito windows with a fingerprint, or by means of facial recognition. You can activate the settings for this yourself.
Incognito with Biometric Security
Google has made a new addition to the Chrome browser. Users can choose to shield the open incognito windows with a security and thus lock them. This can be done through biometric security, such as fingerprint or facial recognition. That way you can regain access to the open tabs that were opened privately.
At this time, the feature is not yet widely available in Google Chrome’s Android app. However, you can activate the function yourself by typing the following text in the address bar; chrome://flags/#incognito-reauthentication-for-android. When you have activated it here, you can enable the option via the settings in Chrome, under ‘Privacy and security’. Later, Google will roll out the feature broadly for everyone.
