Beta 1 available for iOS 15.3, watchOS 8.4 and tvOS 15.3
Apple has just released beta 1 (build 19D5026g) of iOS 15.3 on iPhone and iPadOS 15.3 on iPad. It comes a few days after the final version of iOS 15.2.
First beta for iOS 15.3
This iOS 15.3 beta 1 can be considered special, at least its launch. It turns out that Apple was supposed to offer it for download yesterday, alongside the macOS 12.2 beta. It ultimately did not see the light of day, but the download links were present in the source code. Today, the update is available normally to all developers.
A leak this afternoon revealed that there is very little new stuff. Apple has changed the wording regarding the newly launched child safety features, revised the Podcasts app slightly, and changed text regarding automatic magazine downloads in Apple News + for offline reading. Hopefully there will be more changes with the following betas.
If your device is configured to receive developer betas, go to Settings> General> Software Update. You will be able to recover the beta 1 of iOS 15.3.
At the same time, Apple is offering watchOS 8.4 beta 1 (build 19S5525f) for the Apple Watch and tvOS 15.4 beta 1 (build 19K5527e) for the Apple TV.
