The School Diary app wants to be an alternative to well-known calendar apps like those from Google or Microsoft, and the developers do this by specifically responding to the needs of the student. The app does even more than the standard things you expect from a regular agenda. You know: collect the tasks, schedule events and set reminders.

In School Agenda you can also fill in your class schedule so that you can find at a glance what is on the program every day and in which room you are expected. You also enter the results of your tests and tasks, which gives you a better idea of ​​the score you can expect at the end of the year. The app automatically calculates the averages.

Voice Recorder – Sound Recorder PRO

A sound recorder can be useful for a number of things. There’s a crucial part of the class you don’t want to miss, but your teacher talks faster than you can type or write? Have your phone record the information, so you can update your notes afterwards.

There is also a very good chance that you will interview someone sooner or later during the school year, for example as a source for your thesis. Using an app to record the information will help you focus on asking good questions during the conversation with that person. Voice Recorder – Sound Recorder Pro lets you record audio in different file types.

ColorNote notes notepad

In contrast to Simplenote, ColorNote notepad is nice and colorful and slightly more extensive. Notes can consist only of text but also contain a checklist where you can check off items. You can set a note-by-note reminder, archive or send a note to someone, and pin a note to your status bar.

You can set reminders in three ways (by day, within 15 or within 30 minutes). A recurring reminder can also be set here. Furthermore, a color can be set per note and there is an agenda view. You can sort by color by things like time, alphabet and reminder, and there are also themes, widgets, different note views, synchronization options and a password lock.

Scientific Calculator

Scientific Calculator is a calculator app for students. This app offers powerful functions as you would expect from a real calculator.

There is, among other things, a Basic Calculator and it supports basic math to advanced math functions. With Fraction Calculation you can convert fractions to decimals. There is also an Advanced Calculator and a Scientific Calculator in the app. These include a smart equation solver, linear algebra, calculus, and complex numbers.
