Best Android apps in the Google Play Store week 52

In ‘Best Android apps’ we discuss a selection of cool apps with a high score in the Google Play Store every time. This time we discuss, among other things, a chat app for people with a (mild) intellectual disability and an app to keep track of certain household tasks.

People with a (mild) intellectual disability can use this to send simple messages independently. This way they stay in touch with their parents, family, friends, classmates, colleagues and supervisors.

Google Arts & Culture

Google Arts & Culture is an app that lets you be amazed by art and sights from all over the world from the comfort of your home. The app wants to bring culture closer. For example, you can take a closer look at Van Gogh’s Starry Night or walk virtually through the ancient Mayan temples. Discover, for example, these seven fun and instructive things that you can do with this app.

There is much more to discover in Arts & Culture. An example is the clever ‘Color Palette’ function with which you can match colors from your environment with a work of art, the quiz questions from the app or the new themes that Google regularly highlights. Arts & Culture is therefore an app that is worth checking regularly to discover new content.

Tody

Just a few more days and then a new year will begin. That means a fresh start, right? Tody helps you keep track of certain household chores throughout the year. Not by bothering you with notifications every day, but by having it set how often you think you need to vacuum or the toilet can use a brush.

In fact, the app can even visualize dirt so that you are even more motivated to take on those sometimes annoying tasks. You are also in control when you do your cleaning tasks. You can also use Tody with roommates or family members, so you can check who has done (or should do) what and possibly compliment someone.
