Made – Story Editor & Collage

With Made you can tell better stories with your photos. You can give your photos a background and you can choose from 32 different types. Then you can change the color, add patterns and tell a story with text. There are 16 different fonts with which you can write your story, and you can also filter the photos if you want. The free version of Made includes the important features, but the paid version gives you access to more editing options.

XMind: Mind Map

For many students, the exam period is approaching. XMind can help you to make your learning material clear. On the other hand, the app can also play a major role in the workplace, for example for those who work on projects and want to visualize all the different parts. In addition, the app can also be very useful during a brainstorming session.

Xmind contains 16 different types of mind maps and there are 10 themes to choose from. When you have finished creating a mind map, you export the file, for example as an image or presentation.

Polycam – 3D Scanner

Polycam is an app that converts a subject into a 3D object. First you make a video where you film the subject from all angles and then the app processes it into a 3D object. it works on any Android phone that has at least 2 GB of RAM and the quality partly depends on your smartphone’s camera.

Polycam is not completely free, because the app lets you make eight 3D scans before you have to upgrade to the Pro version. Afterwards there are ways to earn new 3D scans again.

As the name might suggest, this app helps you to record working hours. You can indicate when a working day starts and the registration stops when you stop working. This can easily be done via a widget of the WorkingHours app, or you can activate the activation of an NFC tag. Then you tap the tag with your phone to indicate that you stop using it for that day. Another option is to stop recording if the GPS detects that you are leaving a certain location.

You can save all your working hours with this app in the cloud and you can consult them on Android, iOS and PC. In the app you can compare your different working hours and you can link specific jobs to your working hours. The app can be useful for hourly workers as well as freelancers.
