Australia floods: Apple will donate for relief
Australia has experienced major flooding in recent days, especially in Queensland, a state in the east of the country. There have been several deaths and extensive material damage as a result of heavy rains in the region. Thousands of people also had to leave the scene. They have recently been able to return.
Apple donation to aid Australian flood relief
Tim Cook reacted on Twitter to the floods in Australia and announced that Apple will make a donation to help with the relief. Here is what the Apple boss tweeted: “As Australia’s east coast grapples with the impact of historic flooding of devastating scale, our hearts go out to everyone affected and Apple will donate for relief.”
As the east coast of Australia contends with the impact of historic flooding on a devastating scale, our hearts go out to everyone affected and Apple will be donating to relief efforts.

As always with Apple, the exact amount of the donation is not publicly disclosed.
The last donation made by Apple dates back to last December. This concerned the tornadoes in the United States which had caused the death of at least 83 people.
