Are you wrong? The hero of The Plane Effect is probably even worse -apkrig
The Plane Effect is a new unusual and rather mysterious game set in a dystopian future, aimed at PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch. It is supposed to be a logical adventure bending time and mind. Authors from the unknown teams Innovina Interactive and Studio Kiku entice us to an isometric adventure in which we have to help a hero named Solo find his way home. At the same time, however, they ask us strange questions: “Where is home? What is a home? Is anyone watching you? ”
When you forget where you live and with whom
We have to unravel this whole mystery in the game and the developers are intentionally mysterious like a castle in the Carpathians. What is certain is that we will face enemy entities and solve tricky puzzles. The authors revealed that Solo is returning from work, where he was last that day. But why? Did he get parachuted or resigned? He’s heading for his beautiful family. She has a family, right? Solo thinks so. Yeah, he remembers his wife and baby. Foggy…
As you can see, rather than the gameplay, the authors now want to talk in hints of motivation and story. However, a significant audiovisual processing is probably essential, the aesthetics of which should play as important a role as the challenges that Solo will face. Speaking of graphics, which, according to comments, the players are reminded of the production of the Danish studio Playdead (Inside, Limbo).
But perhaps it reminds me even more of the Norwegian independent game Mosaic by Krillbite Studio from 2019. In my opinion, The Plane Effect evokes it with its stylization, unhappy dystopia, gray color palette and it seems that the motif of insignificance and abandonment in a depersonalized world where work has no No deeper meaning can play an important role in the current title.
The Plane Effect is due out later this year. the game is published by PQube.
