Apple Watch: watchOS 10 will offer “notable changes” for the interface
Apple will unveil watchOS 10 during WWDC and this software update will be the occasion to have notable changes in the interface of the Apple Watch, according to information from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.
There have been few significant changes with watchOS updates over the years. Apple just made a few tweaks here and there. With watchOS 10, we should expect much more significant changes. Unfortunately, there is no concrete information on the visual novelties to come.
Apple made WWDC 2023 official this week, with the conference taking place June 5-9. This will be an opportunity to discover watchOS 10 for the Apple Watch, as well as iOS 17 for the iPhone, iPadOS 17 for the iPad, macOS 14 for Mac and tvOS 17 for Apple TV. Leaks have already suggested that iOS 17 will be entitled to several new features requested by users, but we should not expect a visual change, unlike watchOS 10. Also, Apple should take advantage of the event to announce its mixed reality headset.
Still on the subject of the connected watch, the “major” update of watchOS 10 will be in contrast to the new Apple Watches planned for this year. Indeed, new watches should have the right to small material novelties. We would have to wait until 2024 to really have the right to a new model, in particular an edition with a Micro-LED screen.
