Apple offers iCloud password manager on Windows
Apple is now offering the 12.5 update to its iCloud utility for Windows with the addition of a password manager. It thus becomes possible to manage your identifiers from a dedicated space. Mac users will have the same with macOS Monterey, within System Preferences.
Interface more than simplistic, as we can see
Support for iCloud Keychain on Windows offers the ability to create, modify, copy / paste or delete passwords. There is also a search box to quickly find a username and associated password.
It is still possible to use the dedicated extension for Google Chrome to quickly connect to sites. In fact, Apple now offers an extension for Microsoft Edge. Unfortunately, those who prefer Firefox are still put aside and are not entitled to their extension. May be later.
Fortunately, there is a whole synchronization system. The iCloud Password Manager on Windows syncs with the browser extension (encrypted). An addition, modification or deletion on one also applies to the other. Also, there is a synchronization with the other Apple products which are connected to the same iCloud account. Access to passwords on iPhone or iPad is from Settings> Passwords.
iCloud for Windows is available for free download from the Microsoft Store.
