Apple Music becomes available on Nest devices in new countries
Apple Music can now be played on Google Nest speakers or displays in new countries, including Canada, Australia, India, Mexico and South Korea. Apple added the new countries in a file on his site.
Apple Music on Nest products in five new countries
The availability of Apple Music on Google Nest products first took place at the end of 2020 in France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Japan. Anyone who subscribes to the streaming service can use Google Assistant to play any music, album, or playlist, just as it is possible to do on an Apple device with Siri. It is also possible to set Apple Music as the default music player to avoid saying its name every time when requesting with Google Assistant.
Here’s how to set up Apple Music on your Google Nest device:
- On your iPhone, iPad, or Android device, open the Google Home app
- Touch Settings
- Touch Music
- Under “Other Music Services,” tap the “Link next to Apple Music” icon.
- Tap “Link account”.
- Sign in using the Apple ID you use with Apple Music and follow the onscreen steps to complete the setup.
And to turn it on by default music:
- On your iPhone, iPad, or Android device, open the Google Home app.
- Touch Settings.
- Touch Music.
- Under “Your Music Services,” select Apple Music.
