Apple Fitness+ will no longer require an Apple Watch
Apple explains that its Fitness+ service will for the first time be available to all iPhone users in the 21 countries where the service is offered. They will be able to subscribe and enjoy the sessions even if they do not have an Apple Watch. iPhone users will have access to the entire service, ie more than 3,000 meditation and training sessions comparable to those offered in the gym, led by a team of coaches. Users will see on-screen coaching guidance and interval durations in interval workouts, while their estimated calories burned will complete their Move ring. After prior registration on iPhone, the Fitness+ service will be available on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
Here’s what Jay Blahnik, vice president of fitness technology at Apple, declared :
Since the launch of Fitness+ almost two years ago, we have received very enthusiastic feedback from users who tell us that the service has changed their lives. We can’t wait to see more people around the world stay motivated to achieve their fitness and wellness goals, and be their best every day.
