AirTag sold out almost everywhere
On July 8, we already tipped it off: buy an Apple AirTag before you leave. For iPhone users, it is an ideal gadget to track your valuables. If you put it in your suitcase, you will always see where your luggage is. Very nice in these times of suitcase chaos at airports.
The ideal of the AirTag is that the entire network of Apple devices is used to determine the location. If you are not in the vicinity of the AirTag (100 meters or further), the tracker will make contact with other nearby iPhones and iPads. This way you can also see the location of your bag, suitcase or wallet from a great distance.
Where is it still available?
The AirTag is increasingly making a name for itself as the ideal travel gadget. This can also be seen in the online stores, because the AirTag is sold out almost everywhere. Bol.com is one of the few stores where it is still available at the time of writing at a good price: 41.99 euros each. The tracker is also in stock at Belsimpel, but you pay 54.95 euros there.
High demand drives the price up. The tracker was in stores for the first time on April 30, 2021, for a price of 35 euros. Now it rarely goes over the virtual counter for under 40 euros in most stores.
Incidentally, the AirTag can also be ordered at the (online) Apple Store, at the regular price of 35 euros. However, the delivery time is quite long: one to two weeks.
