Anouk Hoogendijk shares baby happiness after an exciting period
It was an exciting period for Anouk Hoogendijk and her partner Pieter. The former football star shares sweet ultrasound photos on Instagram, but also shares that a bleeding in her uterus caused a lot of concerns.
The photo shows two ultrasound photos on which the spine and the upturned nose, as Anouk affectionately says, of her baby can be clearly seen. ‘It was an exciting time and it will always remain exciting of course, but this lovely upturned nose is doing well in my stomach!’, she writes in her post.
“Our start was exciting because I had a bleed in my uterus. So every week ultrasounds to see how things were going. We didn’t really know if we could be happy, so we didn’t really dare. But now the bleeding is gone and we still feel we should celebrate every milestone. Super happy and grateful for this little person in my belly,” she writes.
Miscarriage
So another exciting period, because at the end of 2021 Anouk shared the sad news that she had had a miscarriage for the second time that year. In a candid post on Instagram she wrote: ’14 weeks we were on a pink cloud, we were so happy! At the beginning of June, Sonny would have a brother. Instead, things didn’t go well. … Besides the fact that it is a huge blow mentally, it is also much more intense than expected physically. I need some time on both levels. Unfortunately, this is the second time it went wrong.’
She also wrote at the time that it was her dream to have two children right after each other. ‘We have to let go of that dream at the moment’.
Big brother Sonny
Two weeks ago, Anouk once again announced the happy news on Instagram that she is pregnant again. In the post we see son Sonny (1), with an ultrasound photo in his back pocket: ‘Sonny was trying to keep it in his pocket… But couldn’t wait to share the news’.
