Another company is introducing a gigabit connection in the Czech Republic. Her name will probably surprise you
The well-known large internet connection providers such as Cetin, T-Mobile or Vodafone will probably soon be joined by another nationwide player. And no, we are not talking about the third big Czech operator. It probably belongs in his plans as well, but now we have in mind ČEZ. The company, known primarily for energy supplies, has under its wings, among other things, its subsidiary ČEZNet, which is planning this big step. This provider has been around for a long time, however, so far it has focused mainly on connecting larger nodes for the benefit of its parent company. The only exception is Karlovy Vary, where a speed of 1 Gb / s is already available from it. Now it seems that ČEZNet is preparing Deploy a gigabit connection nationwide.
The banner on the official website of this provider talks about this fact. It is quite indefinite, however the company is obviously working on the plan. According to the prices for customers in Karlovy Vary, we can also guess how much the service should cost. ČEZNet offers the fastest gigabit connection (1000/100) in this city basically for CZK 899 per month. The tariff with half values will cost CZK 599. For another CZK 99 per month, it is possible to match the upload speed for the download speed tariffs. The provider also offers the option of setting up a public IP address.
Did you know that ČEZ provides an internet connection?
