Android 12 update rollout started

Samsung has started rolling out the update to Android 12 with One UI 4 for two of its models. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be offered the latest Android version in various countries.

Android 12 for Flip and Fold 3

If you are in possession of the latest foldable devices from Samsung, there is good news to report. The manufacturer has prepared a new update for these two models. More precisely, it concerns the update to Android 12, along with One UI 4 for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Until now, only the three devices from the Galaxy S21 series were the lucky ones that have been updated with the update to Android 12.

One UI 4 allows users to use a range of new features and capabilities. The design of Samsung’s own skin has been renewed with some influences from Material You. Several Samsung apps have also been updated with some changes, there are more privacy options and some animations have been applied for a better user experience. Of course, the new features from Android 12 are also included.

Samsung has admittedly started distributing the update. At the time of writing, it is not yet available everywhere. For the Galaxy Z Flip 3, the update can now be downloaded in Serbia. For the Z Fold 3, this is South Korea. This means that in the coming days and weeks all users will get the update, it is expected.
