Android 12 Beta 2.1 launched, what’s new?

On June 9, Google launched the second beta version of Android 12 and now the company comes with an intermediate version that should fix some problems. You can read more about this update here.

Android 12 Beta 2.1

Android 12 Beta 2.1 is a so-called maintenance update that comes with a number of bug fixes. That is not surprising because it is after all a beta version and not a stable version, so the chance that there are errors in the software is greater. An interim update is therefore appreciated.

This update fixes some issues including a lock screen issue such as notifications swiping away. Google also fixed issues that prevented information such as weather and calendar events from appearing in the At A Glance widget on the home screen or lock screen. In addition, the flickering animations when opening recent apps with gesture navigation have been fixed. You can view the entire release notes of Android 12 Beta 2.1 here.
