Amazon raises minimum order value for free shipping
Amazon had initially denied this, but now the reversal is taking place: the company has increased the minimum order value for free shipping. Customers without a Prime subscription would therefore have to shop for 39 euros instead of 29 euros in order to receive free shipping.

Minimum order value on Amazon: These products are excluded
Despite the price adjustment, the minimum order value still does not apply if the order contains a book or an audio book.
It is the first increase in the minimum order value on Amazon in almost a decade. Because the US group last raised the value in August 2014. Previously it was 20 euros.
Change only applies to Fulfillment by Amazon
The new minimum order value only applies to goods shipped through Amazon. Marketplace dealers who ship directly are therefore not affected by the new regulation.
At Amazon, you can decide for yourself how to arrange the shipping or the shipping costs. But that only applies if you don’t use Amazon’s shipping service.
Minimum order value at Amazon: The shipping costs remain the same
However, there is good news when it comes to shipping costs. Because Amazon has not raised this. The costs for standard shipping remain at 2.99 euros.
This applies to software, video games and consoles, but also to Amazon devices and clothing. The delivery of products from all other categories is still 3.99 euros. Excluded from this, however, are further gradations, for example for forwarding deliveries or articles without youth release.
