At Amazon there are currently several small solar generators with battery storage cheaper on offer. Some of them even have additional tricks up their sleeves.

The selection of solar generators is large and is constantly growing. It is a power station that is equipped with a more or less large battery, has several connection options for devices and can be charged not only via the socket but also via a solar module. This makes you independent of the power grid and you can generate energy wherever the sun shines. There are currently several smaller models available on Amazon.

Up to 1,200 watts are possible for a short time. Jackety Explorer 240 for 299 euros
Jackery builds some of the most popular solar generators on the market. Currently there is Jackety Explorer 240 available for just under 300 euros (view at Amazon). Here the power is 200 watts and a maximum of 400 watts for a short time. It is therefore more intended for smartphones, tablets and laptops. Also new is the CTECHi solar generator with a 299 Wh battery, which is currently offered with a 60 euro discount, which you have to activate on the product page (look at Amazon).

More power for more uses
The solar generators mentioned above offer relatively less battery storage and are only suitable for emergencies, for example if you want to charge your cell phone or laptop battery. For a real emergency you need significantly more memory and performance. 1,000 Wh devices are trendy, but they can’t do everything, as we found out in our review of the Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro.
For example, if you really want to operate a normal kettle or other devices that require a lot of electricity for a short time, then it has to be a much more powerful power station like the Jackery Explorer 2000 Pro (check it out at Amazon). Bluetti even offers solar generators, where you can expand the battery capacity if necessary. Of course, it also costs significantly more, but also creates more leeway.
With such a gigantic power station you can also operate household appliances or tools. But that’s far too expensive and too much for normal people. Something like this is more worthwhile as storage if you have a solar system on the roof but do not want a permanent installation.
