All Nvidia Shield TVs will soon receive Android 11
While most system updates for smartphones during this period involve Android 12, some devices are still getting older Android 11. This also applies to devices with the Android TV operating system, which are popular and powerful Nvidia Shield TV. Good news according to the portal AndroidHeadlines is also that the Android 11 will also receive models from 2015.
Android 11 should also get the first model Nvidia Shield TV
Nvidia is a company that honestly supports its facilities. The first Nvidia Shield TV was released in 2015 and ran Android 5.0 Lollipop. Subsequently, it was updated several times, except for the Android 9.0 Pie version. An announcement has now appeared on the social network Twitter that it should also be one of the models that will receive the Android 11 system.
I guess @NVIDIASHIELD update to #AndroidTV 11 is near !
All the models (except darcy) are showing as compatible with 11 in the Google Play Console. Just check how many updates the 2015 model received ! pic.twitter.com/zKnWb4iWSS

The announcement refers to the Google Play console, which lists the Nvidia Shield TV devices that will receive this update. The great thing is that the console lists all Nvidia Shield devices as upgradeable. However, the list itself lacks the “darcy” model. As this device was released in 2017, it is most likely just a mistake on the part of Nvidia.
