It is now possible to leave a comment in WhatsApp where you can choose from all emojis. You no longer have to choose from the six standard emojis. The feature is being rolled out slowly at the moment.

When you got a message in WhatsApp on your iPhone, you could only use a few emojis to respond. You did this by briefly pressing a message with your finger. Then the six emoji you could use appeared in a small box.
WhatsApp had previously indicated that from now on all emojis will be added. But they couldn’t say exactly when that was going to happen. Now Mark Zuckerberg (the owner of WhatsApp, among others) made a striking statement on Facebook.
He said the feature to use all emoji in response in WhatsApp is being released right now. It may then take a while before the function is available to you, because the roll-out of such a function can sometimes take several days.

According to the website WABetaInfo (a website that examines the betas of WhatsApp), the function to use all emoji on a response is longer in the beta version of the chat app for Android and iPhone.
