AirPods Max owners complain about battery problems – here’s what you can do
AirPods Max users are complaining about battery problems on online forums. The battery of Apple headphones drains completely during the night for some. Apple has not yet responded to the fuss.

Battery problems with the AirPods Max
The AirPods Max carriers can be heard on the official Apple forum, Reddit and other places. The complaints are mainly about the battery, which drains to a percentage of 0 or 1 percent during the night. It does not matter whether the Apple headphones are in the included Smart Case storage cover or not.
“My AirPods Max completely discharges itself during the night,” for example, you can read on Apple’s official user forum. “They go from over 90 percent battery percentage to 1 percent in the course of a few hours.”
The person receives support from another AirPods Max owner: “I have the same problem. When I fully charge my AirPods Max, put it in the charging case and want to use it a few hours later, the battery is suddenly completely empty. It’s as if I never charged it. ”
These solutions are there
It is not known how many people face these problems. Apple has not yet responded to the complaints. According to the Dutch website Apple Tips the problems may be due to a recent software update. This came out on December 18.
There are no definitive solutions to the battery problems yet. You can try the following things:
- Reset the AirPods Max. You do this by pressing the Digital Crown and noise control button simultaneously until the orange light starts to flash.
- Reset the AirPods Max to factory settings. To do this, press the Digital Crown and noise control button again, but a little longer until the light turns white.
- Try connecting the AirPods Max to another Bluetooth device to check which devices do / do not have battery problems.
