After the game, Sony is preparing a Days Gone movie
The video game Days Gonereleased in 2019 on PlayStation 4 and two years later on PC, will have the right to a film. Deadline reports that Sony is working on it right now. The group thus continues on its momentum. The latest movie released is Uncharted with Tom Holland.

Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game set in the post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest. The title features Deacon St. John, a motorcycle-riding bounty hunter who fights to survive against Mutants (Freakers), zombie-like creatures that frequently attack in hordes. Deacon St. John also spends much of the game searching for the long-lost love of his life.
Sheldon Turner, who notably wrote the screenplay for X-Men: The Beginningwill take care of the adaptation of Days Gone At the movie theater. Vendetta Productions and PlayStation Productions will handle production. The film is described as a love ballad to motorcycle movies, with the motorcycle being Deacon’s only means of transportation.
Producers currently have their sights set on the show’s star Outlander, Sam Heughan, to play Deacon St. John. The actor also starred in The Spy Who Dumped Me, Bloodshot and in the next movie Everest.
There is currently no information on the rest of the cast or the release date. The film is still in development.
The adaptation of Days Gone is just the latest in a series of announcements made by Sony. Among the PlayStation movies and series in the works is the series The Last of Us of HBO, the film franchise Unchartedseries god of war for Amazon Prime Video, a series Twisted Metal for Peacock, the series Horizon (Grand Turismo) from Netflix and the movie Ghost of Tsushima.
