Abandoned will be released next year, developers promise -apkrig
More than two weeks after the release of the unsatisfactory first demo from Abandoned, a new set of information is coming from the developers of the Dutch studio Blue Box Games. It comes from the frequently asked questions section, which appeared on the slightly modified official website of the studio and tries to answer some burning questions. Their number increased even more after a teaser in the form of a walk on the plank floor and also on the basis of an interview with the studio’s founder and designer Hasan Kahraman for NME magazine. In it, the developer claimed that another preview of the game was close and very vaguely talked about the fact that perhaps it could appear on Gamescom if Kahraman he knew exactly when Gamescom started.

“We’ve posted a FAQ section on our website that covers most things about Abandoned,” representatives of Blue Box Games studios wrote on Twitter during yesterday afternoon. The link leads to a relatively spartan list of twelve questions and places of very austere reactions, some of which repeat previously stated things. So Blue Box reiterated that it had nothing to do with Hide Kojima and explained that Abandoned had nothing to do with their previous title, The Haunting. The novelty is said to have originated from scratch and does not refer to the title in any way, which should ideally dissolve fears that we are watching one big scam.
However, the developers also go on to explain the issues related to the special application for PS5, through which the first trailer was distributed and where we should see more materials in the future. Blue Box does not know when this will happen, but states in the relevant answer that it will happen as soon as possible, resp. at the moment when the prepared material will be ready for public presentation. This also applies to the first teaser, of which we have only seen a short distance according to Blue Box Game Studios. “It simply came to our notice then due to technical problems. We had to shorten the teaser […] and we apologize for that, “the developers say, explaining why the delayed update was 5 GB in size. It is said to be because they contain data whole teaser, but publicly – through that application – is only available for a few seconds.
But behind all the delays is said to be the fact that Abandoned was announced too soon, attracted a lot of attention, and this was to put enormous pressure on the whole team to make the planned demonstrations of the game error-free. Therefore, there is nothing left but to wait, because the developers no longer want to give any deadlines and entice something that may arrive later. Probably for this reason, he confidently states that Abandoned will be published in 2022, even in physical form. For the first time, we should play it through a playable prologue and we should look forward to it a horror shooter with elements of survival, although the primary focus is not horror. And let’s not forget, Abandoned shouldn’t be called Abandoned – it’s just a working title and the full revelation will come with the first gameplay demo.
