iPhone SE 2022 and two new iPads pop up in India, release seems close
91mobiles reports that Apple has brought three different devices to India to conduct its final tests. In any case, this concerns the new iPhone SE and two different iPads.
The latter is a small surprise, because we only expect the iPad Air 2022 this spring. Because the new tablet will cost around $300 according to 91Mobiles, it is probably a successor to the ‘normal’ iPad.

First iOS 16 photos leaked? iPhone gets interactive widgets
It was the biggest feature of iOS 14: widgets. They show information from apps and you place them between the app icons of the home screen. This way you can immediately see the weather forecast for the coming week, without having to open the Weather app.
It seems that from iOS 16 there is much more possible with those widgets. Rumor Spreader LeaksApplePro shared photos of an alleged iPhone with iOS 16. It shows that Apple is working on an extra large widget, which contains other widgets.

Face ID with a mouth cap: does that work?
With iOS 15.4 you will soon be able to use Face ID while wearing a face mask. That’s nice, because this allows facial recognition to work even when your face is covered. The new software version is not yet officially out, but there is already a public test version.
The big question is, of course, whether Face ID with a mouth mask really works. That is why we put it to the test last week.

Apple hasn’t updated these products in the past two years
Several new iPhones are released every year, with hundreds of people queuing for them. The iPad also gets a number of new features every 12 months. However, not all Apple products have this luxury.
There are also things that have not been updated for a long time. Last week we listed these five ‘victims’.

‘Hidden code in iOS 15.4 confirms arrival of AR/VR headset’
More and more evidence is emerging for the existence of Apple’s mixed reality headset. The first beta version of iOS 15.4 already gave us the option to use Face ID with a face mask, but not all new functions are immediately visible.
A hidden code in the software indicates support for augmented and virtual reality headsets. That’s what developer says Maximiliano Firmman.
