A fake shop where nothing is right!
When looking for cheap offers, you always end up with fraudulent shops. If the prices are too good, but you can only pay in advance, for example, you should be suspicious. The shop handwerkerpalast.de is definitely one of these shops. GIGA explains why you shouldn’t buy here.
Recently there have been increasing internet reports about the online shop handwerkerpalast.de. Many victims report that they bought and paid for there but did not receive any goods. Basically, the offer is tempting, especially since the prices are significantly cheaper than those of the cheapest competition. But you should take a closer look at the payment at the latest.
What is wrong with handwerkerpalast.de?
The question is easy to answer: At handwerkerpalast.de everything is simply fake!
- It starts with the phone number that you can’t call because it doesn’t exist.
- All data in the imprint are falsified.
- Although credit card, cash on delivery and invoice payment methods are also offered on the website, you can only pay in advance.
- While a Spanish account number was mentioned on the bill for a while, it is currently an account at Bank N26. The account holder named there is a “David G. Sanz” who does not appear anywhere in the company imprint.
- The specified commercial register number AG Leipzig HRB 14375 has already been assigned to another company.
- The sales tax ID is also invalid.
Customers who have been betrayed can try to get their money back through Bank N26. The current bank details are:
Account holder: David G. Sanz
IBAN: DE73 1001 1001 2624 3785 08
BIC: NTSBDEB1XXX
But you should also have a Report it to the police. Do not wait to see if something comes after all or if someone reacts to your e-mails. You will not receive any support and the phone number is fake anyway.
If possible, you should also provide screenshots of the website, the imprint and the invoice with the advertisement.
What should you do if you have ordered there?
As long as you have not yet paid and have only become suspicious, you can consider yourself lucky. Even if, contrary to expectations, the company should still contact you and send a reminder for the amount, you can safely ignore these emails. A correctly acting shop operator would have the right to demand the concluded contract, but then he would also have to deliver. That won’t happen in this case.
However, if you have paid and only find out afterwards that nothing is coming, then it becomes difficult. It is very likely that the fraudsters are located abroad. You hide behind an anonymous hosting in the USA and your e-mail is operated by a provider who offers the connection of any e-mail address with its own domains. It is too complicated for German investigative authorities to find the backers. An ad may even be rejected because of the alleged “minor damage”.
In that case, you can currently try to get your money through the support of the bank. But the next time you switch to a foreign account, this option will also be over.
