A Call From Below (Find All Eyes)

“A Call From Below” is one of the most difficult quests in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Fortunately, the reward is accordingly very lucrative. You get a whole heart container for it. In this guide we explain step by step what you have to do.

Start A Call From Below

To find the quest, you must go to the Forgotten Plateau in the south of Hyrule Plains. Brittle rocks block the entrance to the Forgotten Plateau. Destroy the rocks with a bomb or a hammer. This will drain the water behind the gate and you can go inside.

Just beyond the gate, a statue’s head juts out of the ground. Talk to the statue, which will then send you to the ruins of the Temple of Time in the middle of the Forgotten Plateau. There, interact with the statue of the goddess and you will hear a voice from underground, from which you will receive the episode “A Call From Below”.

The voice will show you four markers near chasms. You must find an eye of a statue there, throw it into the abyss and then transport the eye to the Mage Statue in the Abandoned Central Mine. Below we will go into the four subtasks in the following order.

first eye

The first eye is located near the North Chasm in the Forgotten Plateau. Investigate the nearby body of water and use the Ultra Hand to pull the Eye out of the water. Then throw it into the abyss and jump after it.

It’s best to build a vehicle at the material store near the landing site, stick the eye on it and drive to the Abandoned Central Mine in the south. You can get to the Mage Statue through the south-west entrance of the Central Mine. So you have to go through the mine and jump to the lower level after the teleportation point. When you reach your destination, all you have to do is place the eye in one of the indentations.

second eye

The second eye is hidden near the East Chasm in the Forgotten Plateau. West of the abyss you have to destroy the brittle rocksto discover the eye underneath. Grab it and then throw it into the abyss.

In the underground you carry the eye to the rails. Place the cart on the rails, attach a fan and climb into the cart with your eye. The rails lead you directly to the central mine and the entrance to the mage statue.

Third Eye

The Third Eye is located near the South Chasm in the Forgotten Plateau. Beside the abyss lies a rock that fell from the sky. Use Time Reverse on the rocksto move him up, because under the rock is the third eye. Pick it up quickly and throw it into the abyss next to it.

Go underground with the eye up the stairs and build a plane at the material store. Place the eye on it and then fly to the central mine to the north.

fourth eye

The fourth and final eye is at the West Chasm in the Forgotten Plateau. Since it’s quite cold here, winter clothes don’t hurt. The eye is in one of the blocks of ice next to the chasm. You therefore need either a firearm or fire items to thaw it. A storage tax (bundle of wood + flint) would also be an option.

Go underground with the eye up the stairs and take the elevator to the top. Then you grab a lorry and drive along the left rails. At the end of the rails, go up the stairs to the next rails, which in turn will take you to the central mine. However, you are then on the lowest level and have to take an elevator left or right up to the magician statue.
