Sonos Ray: Small soundbar with great sound
The Sonos Ray is available in either black or white and is a real eye-catcher thanks to its matt surface and the typically timeless Sonos design. The sound can also be seen or heard. Thanks to the front-facing acoustics, the Ray is perfect for enclosed areas, such as a TV cabinet. If required, the Sonos system can be flexibly expanded with additional speakers for surround sound or a multi-room experience. The two tweeters, which are angled outwards, together with the woofers in the middle, ensure room-filling stereo sound. In addition, you can use the TruePlay function in the Sonos app for iOS to adapt the sound individually to the room acoustics.
The Sonos Ray is operated via smartphone and a large number of streaming services are supported, such as Spotify Connect and Amazon Music. Playing audio content via Apple AirPlay 2 is also possible.
The Sonos Ray is a compact, powerful soundbar that is limited to the essential features. So you have to do without Dolby Atmos and an HDMI eArc interface. A TV can only be connected via an optical cable. However, the soundbar, which is almost 56 cm high and only about 7 cm wide, is more suitable for small rooms and televisions anyway.
