Motorola rolls out new security update for 10 devices; also older models
A dozen Motorola smartphones are being updated with a new security update. Some of these appeared a few years ago, but still receive the April or May update. We list the devices in question.
Motorola with updates
We can say that Motorola has taken a lot of steps around the release of updates. More and more often, updates are being rolled out to the different models. This week is a great example of this. Where we saw updates roll in for the Motorola Edge 20 series a few days ago, it is now the turn of ten different models. We list exactly what has been updated by Motorola.
Security Update April 2022
Security update April 2022 will be rolled out for three out of ten devices. This update brings a total of 44 patches. Manufacturers have often added their own patches to this in order to tackle their own vulnerabilities. The April update is ready for the Motorola Edge 30, the Moto G41 and the Moto G22.
Security Update May 2022
The seven other devices will receive the May 2022 security update. This also includes some devices that were released a long time ago. Good thing that these smartphones have not been forgotten by the brand. The May security update is rolling out to the Moto G60s, Moto G60, Moto G50, Moto G20, Moto G 5G Plus, Moto G9 Plus, Moto G Pro, and the Motorola One Action.
