One in ten mobile users in 2021 will have a dumb phone. Reasons for the rise of the dumb phone? Recently, there has been a lot of interest in the dumb phone on TikTok and a large group of people have used such a thing in the past. So nostalgia counts too. Nokia has also thrown oil on the fire with the launch of their ‘new’ 3310, which once again fueled the nostalgia. It also gives people peace of mind that the phone can take a beating and can last several days on one battery charge. And of course the lack of constant apps, DMs and nonsense on your screen.
